What is a Virtual Tour?

A set of images arranged to give the viewer control of which direction they look and what they see. It gives a sense of actually being there and looking around themselves.

Why do I need a virtual tour?

More and more, customers are using the internet to research businesses before deciding which one to choose.  If they have to travel a distance to you, showing them your offering remotely gives them the opportunity to make a better informed decision about your business.

How long does the whole process take?

Depending on our schedule, we can get your tour fully photographed and rendered within 2 days, but we do like to spend time on the image quality, so it could take a little longer. We will give you an estimation of current workloads when you make an enquiry.

Do I need to be present during the shoot?

No. We will discuss your requirements prior to photographing the location. As long as we have access that’s all that is required.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the UK and beyond. In some countries, we are required to obtain a working permit/visa prior to travelling. For the UK, we have a simple pricing structure for each area – see our pricing pages for more information. If we can’t accommodate you in a reasonable time because of geographical location, we may be able to recommend a good tour provider in your area.

How do I show the tour on my website?

It’s up to you. We can either give you all the required files for you or your internet team to integrate into your website, or provide a simple link to place on your website and host the tour for you. Unlike some tour providers, there is no additional charge or annual fees for this service. We’ll provide you with an exclusive web address also, for example; www.yourbusiness.360hdtours.co.uk

Do my customers need special software to view the tour?

No. The majority of devices and computers have flash installed on them. For devices that don’t support flash, we produce tours that playback in HTML5 – ideal for mobile browsing on iPhones and iPads.

I don’t have a website, can I still have a tour?

Yes. We can provide a simple 1-page site with your tour and business contact details on it. The web address will be www.yourbusiness.360hdtours.co.uk. Alternatively, we can also provide tours on CD ROM

Can I use my own photographs in the tour?

No, sorry. We only supply complete packages including the photography. That way, we have control over the entire process and ensure your tour is of the highest quality.

Are there discounts available?

Yes. We are happy to discuss preferential rates with clients and businesses that require frequent use of the tour service. In addition, we offer tour refreshes at preferential rates for existing clients who have remodelled their offering.

Are there any annual or additional charges?

No. We provide free tour hosting if required (see terms and conditions).

I have some security concerns about showing my business in this way.

Don’t worry, if you only want the public areas to be on the tour, that’s fine. The tour will consist of only the areas you require. If there are specific parts of a property or location that you require to be masked, we can do that at no additional charge and often without the viewer being aware.
